The Pupil Premium was introduced by the Government
in April 2011. It is additional funding allocated for pupils that:
• Are currently eligible for free school meals
• Claimed free school meals within the last six years
• Are a looked after child
• Are a service child.
The school evaluation of its own performance is rigorous.
Tracking of individual progress and achievement now takes place half-termly and is very thorough, allowing teaching staff to quickly identify any concerns and put support strategies into place. This ensures that all of our children have every opportunity to reach their full potential.
